Introduction: Yakhgan Pothole-Yakhegan Cave(Persian:غار يخگان )

Yakhgan Pothole is 77 km khalkhal city .

Location: Between Kosar and Khalkhal Road,Ardebil City, in Ardabil Province


Days of trip: 3 Day from Tehran to Tehran (Without heavy traffic you need 5-6 hr driving from Tehran to Yakhegan Cave)
Attention: In holidays there is heavy traffic in all roads around Tehran.

Best time to visit: Spring is the best time.

Daily time visit:

Difficulty level: Moderate-3 hours walking

1- Go to west terminal of buses in Tehran (more info)
2- Take a bus ticket to Khalkhal.(Distance between Tehran to Khalkhal City is 462 Km)
3- Take a taxi to Yakhegan Cave and the 3 hour walking . (Distance between Khalkhal City to Yakhegan Cave is 77 Km)

Nearest train station: There is no station less than 100 Km.
