Iran is either desert or mountains

Postby kistreyin » Tue Aug 26, 2014 5:54 am

Two-thirds of Iran is either desert or mountains. Overall, rain is scarce and seasonal. The climates can be extreme and vary in different regions of the country. The area between the Elburz Mountains and the Caspian Sea in the north contains the most fertile land, which makes the temperature more moderate than in the southern regions. This area also supports the last enduring thickly forested area in the Middle East.

I have visited Iran many times. This is a wonderful place to visit from all over the world. Iran’s major attraction is desert. It consists on a wide range of various deserts. But as you know its area is also surrounded huge peaks of mountains. So this is a desert or mountain…?? A tough question but according to my opinion Iran is a fabulous collection of desert I visited most of them. So yes Iran is a desert, not mountain is just a part of desert…. :)
