Introduction:Kordkūy City-Shahr e Kordkoy(Persian: شهر کردکوی‎)

The city of Kurdkooy maintains a moderate climate. In regard to its historical background, it is said that during the rule of Shah Abbas Safavi, a number of people migrated from Kurdestan in western Iran to Mazandaran and Astarabad.

Agriculture is an economic mainstay of this city. It's most important agricultural products are wheat, rice, and soya beans. Kurdkooy is home to meadows, forested regions, and green landscape. Due to the fertility of the soil of this region and development of agriculture; the majority of the industries of this city are related to agricultural products. Also the handicrafts of this region include felting, straw-weaving, and production of woolen socks.

Among the historical monuments of this city, one can name Raadkaan Tower, which dates back to 1,000 years ago. According to its inscription, this tower is a tomb of a general of Mazandaran which has been built in 407 AH. It is en route the Silk Road and is decorated with brickwork and plasterwork. Also, this city is home to a number of other religious and historical monuments.

2- Take a bus to Gorgan (Also you can use train or air plane)Distance from Tehran to Gorgan is 393 km.
2- Get off the bus in Kordkuy City
