Nasir ul-Molk Mosque is also one of the other well-known mosques of Shiraz, which is located at this city's downtown. The founder of this mosque is one of the prominent figures of the Qajarid era, Mirza Hussein-Ali Khan Nasir ul-Molk. This mosque includes a vast courtyard, two northern and southern balconies; two eastern and western roofed areas, a highly decorated gateway, and a porch. This mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques of Iran in regard to its tiling and arches. Almost all the surfaces of this mosque are covered with colored tiles with paintings of different plants. The tiles display flowers, bushes, and animals with the application of a variety of colors, which manifests the ingenuity of the artists of the Qajarid era.
