Introduction: Toroud (طرود) (Also: Torud, Turood) is one of the oldest villages in Dasht-e Kavir (دشت کویر). They are producing Date now and village is occupied by date trees and camels.
There is a salt river and ruins of old village which you can visit.

Location: Semnan Province

Days of trip: (Without air plane) 1-2 Days from Tehran to Tehran (Without heavy traffic you need About 6-8 hr driving from Tehran to "Torud" village)
Attention: In holidays there is heavy traffic in all roads around Tehran.

Best time to visit: November to March

Daily time visit: No limit

Difficulty level: Easy

Requirements: (Depend on your plan) Guide or GPS track, water, food, warm and waterproof clothes and tent, waterproof shoes, headlamp

How to get there:
1- Go to Baihaghi or South terminal of buses in Tehran (more info), Also you can use train.
2- Take a bus ticket to Shahrood or Damghan.
3- Take a taxi to Torud village

Nearest train station: Damghan and Shahrood station
