Introduction:Qaslana-Qaslan-Ghaslan (Persian:قصلان)

Qaslan Village in western Kurdestan province is one of the tourism villages. Located 6 km northwest of Qorveh, it has an ancient history, archeology and culture.

The village boasts an old bathhouse, which is part of a huge complex, including a citadel, bazaar and mosque, Fars News Agency wrote.
All of them date back to the rule of Khosrow Khan, the governor of Kurdestan during Zandieh era.
The bathhouse includes an entrance hall, baths and a pool. It has unique calcarious decorations with geometrical, plant and animal designs.
According to an inscription currently kept at Sanandaj Museum, the bathhouse was renovated during the rule of Asef in Sanandaj.
It was in use until the early years of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. With the construction of the new bathhouse, it was abandoned.
After Farhadabad Bridge, the ancient bathhouse was registered on Iran’s National Heritage List in 2000.
Iranian public bathhouses had a smart structure in the past. They consisted of several rooms interconnected by corridors, which helped adjust the temperature. This was aimed at preventing clients from catching a cold.
Bathhouses were also the gathering place of people where news and views were exchanged over tea.
